c3 Catalyst is a consulting practice that centers love, curiosity, presence, and empathy for personal and collective liberation

I practice interbeing.

Nothing in this work exists alone. Fundraising is racial equity work is spiritual work is movement work. They are one practice, drawn from converging streams: Community-Centric Fundraising, Kingian Nonviolence, and the Plum Village tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.

I believe fundraising is relational, not extractive.

Money moves where trust moves. The real work is building the culture, strategy, and relationships that let resources flow toward the communities doing liberation work.

Community-Centric Fundraising is how I practice.

Centering communities over donors. Honoring the people closest to the work as the experts they are. Building a sector worthy of the movements it funds.

Kingian Nonviolence is my foundation.

I am a Level II Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation Trainer in direct lineage from the late Dr. Bernard LaFayette Jr. Not a credential I carry — a practice that shapes how I show up in every engagement.

I meet organizations where they are.

Fractional development leadership. Grant strategy. Board and staff facilitation. Short sprints and long partnerships.

I am rooted in Austin. In community with many.

I find community in Nonviolent Austin, Undoing White Supremacy Austin, the Plum Blossom Sangha and KOOP Community Radio, where I host monthly radio shows Nonviolent Austin Radio Hour and Racism on the Levels.

Beyond Austin, I serve on the national board of creative change agency Resource Media. Prior to this, I spent six years on the board as VP of Governance for the Playing for Change Foundation, a global music nonprofit focused on creating positive social change through music and arts education.
